Help Judy & Greg After Losing Houseboat in Lake Mead Fire

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-Hearted Strangers,

I'm reaching out today with a heavy heart to share the devastating news that my mom and her partner, Greg, lost their beloved houseboat in a recent fire at Lake Mead. This heartbreaking incident not only destroyed many of their personal belongings, but also took away their home base.

For the past four years, my mom and Greg have poured their hearts and souls into renovating their houseboat. They split their time between the boat and their RV, so the boat was filled with all their family mementos, clothing, and other personal belongings.

Tragically, the fire consumed everything they had on the boat. While insurance will cover only about half of the boat's value, it won't cover any of the contents inside. This leaves them with a significant financial gap and the daunting task of starting over from scratch.
