Help Julia Kick Cancer to the Curb!

It’s been quite a summer for Julia. After doing an amazing job of recovering from a below-the-knee amputation last year, Julia has been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. It’s a very rare blood cancer causing her bones to thin and break. Definitely a shock!!

Since June 18th, Julia has been in and out of the hospital. She is currently admitted to “get control” of her horrible pain. She is receiving Chemotherapy treatments and radiation.

Since June, Julia has been on unpaid leave from work, after using paid time-off so she has no income right now. Like many people, she lived check to check. Her insurance will help with the medical bills, but it’s not known when she can return to work. As of now, she already needs help with daily living expenses like Rent, electric, gas, etc.

I’m Kim and Julia has been my best friend for close to 30 years. I live in Minnesota but I have been by her side since this nightmare started and will be here for her until she kicks cancer’s butt. I am helping her navigate all of this and will continue to be at her side.
