Help Julie and Nora recover from Eaton fire devastation
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
On January 7, 2025, a devastating fire swept through the Eaton Canyon area, and unfortunately, Julie O’Leary and her young daughter, Nora were among the many who lost everything. Julie is a hard-working and loving mom, who had been building a life for herself and Nora, in Altadena, but now they find themselves without a home, clothing, or personal belongings.
The fire, which moved quickly and left little time for evacuation, destroyed their home along with everything they own. Julie is doing her best to stay strong for Nora, but as many of us can only imagine, starting over is an overwhelming and financially taxing process.
I am reaching out to ask for your support and help them restore their lives. The funds raised will go directly towards securing temporary housing, replacing clothing and personal items, and ensuring Nora can continue her education without disruption. Julie and Nora will also need help with food, utilities, and other essentials as they navigate through this challenging time.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in giving them hope for a fresh start. Your kindness and generosity will not only help restore their basic needs but will also show them that there are good people who care and are willing to lend a hand when life takes an unexpected turn.
Thank you for your support, prayers, and any donation you can offer. Together, we can help Julie and Nora restore their lives and future.
With gratitude,
Cat Mandelin, on behalf of Julie and the kindergarten families at Nora’s school
