"Many of you know that Jason, my husband of 20 years, loving father and partner in life, has been struggling with a debilitating condition, called CADASIL. Repeated strokes have set him back. Jason has been a hard working contractor for decades, he is a Veteran, who, as a member of The 82nd Airborne, served in The Gulf war, Panama and Honduras. For the past decade he has been a dedicated member of the B. F. Day and Fremont Community.
At our School,he helps out where ever he can; from putting up the 5th grade tiles, you drive by everyday, to maintaining the garden, or helping in the office, lunchroom, playground, or where ever he is needed. Last year we were awarded "The Golden Acorn", by the Washington State PTSA. This is an honor given for outstanding community service and many years volunteering .Five years ago we created an After-school Drama program, we are hugely successful and present 2 performances a year: we specialize in teaching Shakespeare and Improvisation; our classes are always full! However, we are now in a transition. It's time for me to provide for my family, and build a sustainable business so that I can keep doing that. Our son Jacob,17, is an aspiring Artist, and Kathleen, 12, loves Ultimate Frisbee and is an accomplished performer!! I need to move quickly to keep us afloat with rising medical costs and basic daily needs. I am creating this GoFundMe to help me get control of those short term costs, medical and surrounding costs(like a new cane, transportation to and from Dr.'s and other unseen financial occurrences.) More importantly, your generous donations will give me the ability to transform my work Creating Theater Camps and Classes into a business that will help me to continue to provide for my family in the future. Your donation would be a miracle for my family in the short term, as well as a bet that I can bring sorely needed Arts Education to my Community...and Make a Living doing it. I need to set up and maintain a website, Rent Space for classes, print scripts, purchase equipment, along with communication/administration costs, it all add up - And right now, I am starting from 0.
Every donation helps ! Peace love and thanks from our family. Grateful for your support."
