For those who may not know her story, Julie is a devoted mother to two sons, my husband Michael and his brother, Rodney. She's also a cherished grandmother to nine beautiful grandchildren, three of whom she proudly claims as her own. Tragically, Julie is now a widow, having weathered the storm of losing her beloved husband to colon cancer not long ago. Despite this profound loss, she has remained a pillar of strength for her family and friends, inspiring us all with her resilience and unwavering spirit.

The road ahead for Julie is daunting—a double mastectomy, followed by grueling rounds of chemotherapy, and then reconstructive surgery. But I have no doubt that Julie will face each step with courage and determination, fueled by her deep love for her family and her unwavering desire to see her grandchildren grow up.

Julie has already endured so much loss to cancer—her husband, her mother, and multiple friends. Now, she faces one of her toughest battles yet. But she won't face it alone, especially with your help.
