Help Julie & Michelle Lapierre

Hello my name is Victoria and I am a friend to Michelle & Julie! As many of Julie & Michelle's close family and friends know, Julie was diagnosed with cancer 2022. Her medical struggles have been extensive since and has severely impacted both her physical well-being and financial situation. Her first round of chemo and surgery on the liver and colon in 2023 was successful for a while, until she found out the cancer had returned. Julie underwent her second major surgery on her liver on January 23rd 2024, where they removed 60% or more of her liver. Hopefully this means for Julie that the cancer will be gone for good, but that does not mean the road to recovery will be easy. Julie was not able to work due to her medical hinderances during that time. She also was enrolled in post secondary school furthering her education to become a Medical Office Administrator which was a paid program. Due to the amount of appointments she had to attend to and the physical determinant the cancer caused, Julie was given no other option but to stop her studies and withdraw from the program. Michelle, Julie's sister whom she lives with is currently working full time and trying her best to support Julie through all of this! During this time they were wrongfully evicted from their apartment and were forced to pay almost double in rent! With Michelle as the sole provider this has been almost near impossible. Julie is now on the mend and attempting to enter the work force, looking for part time work whilst in recovery. If you know the Lapierre sisters then you know how giving and caring they are! Now it's our turn to give back to them. Please consider helping Michelle and Julie by donating what you can to relieve some of the financial pressures during this time.
