Help Julie Recover and Return to Work

This is Julie Claire. I live in Northern New Mexico.

My work for the last 15 years has been helping people through my profession as a creativity-based life coach and facilitator. I am also an artist.

I had to stop my work when I had major surgery in September, followed by chemotherapy. I did have medical insurance for the original mainstream treatments, but now I am receiving integrative, complementary treatments that are not covered by insurance and that will continue for many months; my family has already helped in a beautiful way.

Your financial help will help me personally tremendously and it will also help my work with others. My work until recently included:

• Leading a donation-based online class for people deeply affected by the pandemic called "The Creative Cure for Anxious Times".

• Coaching one on one:

o One of my clients is a doctor who is a true healer with decades of experience. The toxic culture of the hospital in which she works was suffocating her psyche and threatening her physical health. She now has an active creative life and is finding innovative ways to have her needs met and avoid burnout.

o Another of my clients is a therapist who helps people with PTSD and trauma who are struggling. She now has a drawing/painting practice that sustains her and has expanded her offerings to include exciting cutting-edge workshops.

• Leading Intuitive Painting Experiences for self-expression and healing

• Creating a podcast where I interviewed unusual women and men from diverse backgrounds on how they found a way to bring their unique gifts to the world.

I hope to slowly, gently return to work over the next six months-- not pushing, not overdoing, but in a healing way, return to the work that I feel I was born for.
