Help Julie Rhodes Get Back on the Road

Hi friends,

I'm reaching out to you because.. well, I'm afraid I need some help. At the end 2021, I was going through a pretty bad rough patch... I had lost my apartment in Boston, and began my transition to Rhode Island, with no job, no money and not a whole lot of hope. I struggle with depression on a good day, so this was a huge challenge for me. Thanks to support from my friends and family, I began to slowly piece my life back together... but it was not without its setbacks. Before I was able to feel any real relief, my car completely died after having it for not even one year. I borrowed $7,000 to purchase a new car, thinking surely it would last til I got myself back on my feet. Sadly, I was wrong. In 2023, this past June, not a year and a half later, and through no fault of my own, I again lost my apartment. I was given 6 weeks to find a new place to live.. I used every last dime I had to secure an apartment so that I would have a roof over my head.. and I began my ascent up the hill again, trying to get myself to a safe and secure place... This brings me to today... Just 2 months after this move... I'm writing to you as I arrive home from taking my car to the mechanic. The words I desperately did not want to hear... "It's not good news... Your car needs a new engine"... I'm currently working as a delivery driver, so my income completely relies on this transportation. Even a used engine is upwards of $2800, plus labor.. and I have approximately 0 of those dollars. This is why I'm writing to you today. If you are able, any help you might be able to contribute would make such a huge difference in my life right now.
