Help Julio Pezua!

Dear Racing Family and Fans,

Our own Julio Pezua was injured in a spill last week during training at Belmont Park. Julio sustained multiple spinal fractures and is still at Winthrop Hospital. He has a long road to recovery and will need a lot of therapy. With all that, Julio maintains a great attitude and a contagious smile with his family by his side. For those that remember, Julio started riding in this country in 1985 at Calder. He last rode races in 2018 and has continued on as an amazing breeze rider. Julio has ridden over 12,000 races and has over 1300 wins with his biggest win on Dixie Brass in the Met Mile.
