Support Junail: A Champion for people experiencing Houselessness is Facing Housing Insecurity

I first met Junail in 2020 when we collaborated on a project addressing Houselessness in Minneapolis.

Junail is a remarkable leader in this field, serving as the Executive Director of Freedom From the Streets, a small yet powerful non-profit organization. What makes this organization unique is that it is entirely staffed and directed by individuals who have firsthand experience being unhoused. This lived experience brings a level of understanding, and effectiveness to their work.

Junail herself is currently at risk of losing her housing. At the same time, she continues to help individuals and organizations within the housing community as a person with Lived Experience - often as a volunteer or paid with stipends.
