Help June Walker keep her home
Donation protected
While reading an article regarding home scams in Detroit, I read about Ms. June Walker and her story broke my heart. June who is 65 years old, scrimped and saved for more than two years, setting aside most of her disability check, to afford the $550 rent a month she needed to buy the $15,000 home. Now, she is facing eviction because he man she paid for the past 3 years does not own the home.
June also overcame addiction and reconnected with her adult daughters. She renovated the home with the help of her friends and donations. When she moved in, in 2019 the house had no furnace, no water heater and no plumbing under the kitchen sink. In addition, the basement was filled with sewage. She did not allow those obstacles to discourage her. She sacrificed and made that bungalow her home. She should not have to move!!
I immediately searched hoping to donate to help her keep her home and I am unable to find anywhere to make a donation. I am starting this go fund me and will get all monies to her so she can be rid of this nightmare and enjoy the house she made her home.
