Help Junzo Recover After Eaton Fire Loss

Donation protected
Hello my name is Becki Chernoff. I'm a fellow ceramicist and friend of Junzo Mori. Junzo like so many others has lost his home of four decades in the Eaton Fire. This is devastating to say the least. And especially surreal as he's been out of town during this whole ordeal. This was Junzo's forever home and as he's nearing retirement in his mid 70s that important investment and safety is now gone.

Junzo is an absolute treasure to the Los Angeles ceramics community. If you own any handmade ceramics made in the Los Angeles area in the past 30 years, there is a good chance that Junzo Mori fired your piece for the artist. His knowledge of firings and glaze making is an art form that has supported countless artists on the Eastside of Los Angeles for decades. He is kind and gentle and a good friend to many people of many generations working with clay.

These funds will go directly to Junzo and support him in any unmet needs not covered by other disaster relief aid. We thank you so very much for any help you can lend.
