Help Justin and His Kids

As many of you know, my friend Justin who is a father of two, was stabbed in the throat causing his trachea to be exposed and his hand to suffer stitches from the blade at a local bar this past week while his friend Scott was shot. They were trying to do a good deed and with that being said it turned for the worst. He was trying to break up a bar squabble which he quit the bar 2 weeks prior making it so that nothing is covered. He has no medical insurance. Due to the adrenaline rush he doesn't remember a whole lot after being stabbed in the neck. Both Justin and his friend were transported to the Upstate Trauma Center where he then had his throat sewed back together with multiple stitches that followed a surgery. After taking an ambulance ride and having to stay in the hospital this is a major expense itself.

Justin has been a business owner for the past several years and recently closed down his business. With shutting the business down being enough this hard taken an even bigger toll with the holidays approaching and him having kids this is a tremendous hardship that is causing a major set back for bills and his medical bills. We have no idea how long this recovery will be and what the next expense of this will be. Without having insurance this takes a huge toll being able to think about the ambulance ride, being in the hospital and anything else that is needed medical wise with this recovery.

At this time the police are still investigating and the two that are involved in the stabbing and shooting have not been charged at this time. There is no total for the bills at this time but will keep everyone updated as things come up!

We appreciate anything and everything to help during this tough situation as this wasn't expected. Expenses and medical bills are adding up as we speak with no end in site at this time.
