Justice & Healing for Justin — Campus Shooting Survivor
On April 19th, my cousin Justin was shot 5 times on the campus of Norfolk University.
He wasn’t in the wrong place. He wasn’t doing anything reckless.
Justin is a scholar, a leader, and a future Physician Assistant who was just one class away from earning his bachelor's degree. He was supposed to graduate this fall.
He’s the President of his class.
Raised in the suburbs by hardworking parents who paid high tuition so he could chase his dreams safely.
He’s never been in trouble. He’s not a statistic. He’s our miracle—and now, he has a testimony.
But that testimony comes with a long road ahead.
Why We're Raising Funds:
This campaign is to help Justin and his family with the unexpected costs that have come from this life-changing trauma:
- Hotel stays near the hospital so his parents can be close
- Missed work & bills while they care for him
- Transportation for treatments and follow-up visits
- Long-term recovery support: therapy, rehab, medical care
- Basic needs during this critical recovery window
- The shooter is still at large.
This shouldn’t have happened. Not to a young man who worked this hard.
We can’t change what happened—but we can show him that he’s not alone in this fight.
