Help Justin Johnson Kick Cancer's Butt

To Justin and Myka’s Family and Friends:

As we all know, Justin Johnson is the most loving, caring, generous, and protective husband, brother, son, friend, and now father. If you have met him, you know how amazing and special he is. If you know him, you love him! Justin became a father to a handsome and perfect son named Rhys on September 15, 2023.

Unfortunately, Justin has been struck by a devastating and was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) on September 22, 2023. For those who do not know, this cancer starts in the bone marrow and quickly moves into the blood. It affects the white blood cells called the myeloid cells, which normally develop into various types of mature blood cells, such as red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. It is a rapidly progressing cancer that requires treatment as soon as it is diagnosed. For Justin, the onset of this disease was swift. Justin started chemotherapy on September 28, 2023, and he will remain in the hospital for at least 4 weeks while receiving treatment. During this time, Justin can only have a few visitors who have to remain the same throughout his stay due to his compromised immune system.

Justin’s friends and family would describe Justin as loving, caring, and giving. Justin and Myka do not like to ask for help but instead like to give it. However, currently, we need all of you, his friends and family, to give to them through prayer, positive thoughts, and, if you feel inclined, donations. I genuinely believe that no one deserves it more than Myka and Justin. Your thoughts, prayers, and donations will go toward supporting Justin, Myka, and Rhys through this journey.

God is with Justin, Myka, and Rhys through this all. I know many of you have reached out to Justin and Myka to find out how you can help and be there for them. We all feel hopeful that Justin can kick this cancer’s butt. Unfortunately, at this time, we do not know all the details on the amount of treatments or time that will be required, but as you can imagine, the cost will be tremendous. If God is placing it on your heart to give, every prayer, positive thought, and dollar will help tremendously.
