Help Justin Kirby Rebuild After The Palisades Fire

My name is Brian DeCook and I am organizing this fundraiser for my lifelong friend Justin Kirby. Justin and his partner Maria lived in the Palisades Bowl Mobile Estates, which tragically burned to the ground on Day 1 of the Palisades fire. Justin bought his place in Palisades Bowl in 2005 and lived there happily with Maria until January 7, 2025. Justin is a full time school teacher and a lifeguard in the Los Angeles area, and was at work when the fire began. On the afternoon of January 7, Maria evacuated on short notice and was only able to grab a few essential items. I'm sure they thought they'd only be gone a night. Unfortunately, the next morning revealed their house was gone, along with thousands of others in the Palisades and Malibu area. Both are safe and happy to be alive, but they will be starting over from scratch. Most of their valuables and personal belongings were incinerated. Moving forward, they will be looking for a new apartment to rent and slowly start the task of replacing everything that burned, including all of their clothing, furniture, musical equipment, surfboards, etc. Any financial help would be greatly appreciated in helping these two start their new beginning.
