Help K9 Nicco Become a Certified Therapy Dog

On August 12 2024 K9 Nicco suffered multiple severe fractures to his front left leg. He has had multiple setbacks including infections, constant draining at the surgical site and the surgical site not closing. After 6 surgeries and months of treatments and consultations with many experts in the field, it was ultimately decided that a total amputation was necessary.
Nicco is a fun loving 3 year old German Shepherd. He has fit in amazingly well with our family and our other dog, Castor. Nicco would always get excited when it was time to put his vest on and get in his work car and go to work. Sadly, he doesn't understand why he can't come with me to work as his drive for work is incredibly high. Because he enjoys working so much I have reached out to several organizations who train dogs to be therapy dogs so that Nicco can continue to serve the community and help others. We would love to help children and veterans who are dealing with having a limp amputated.
The whole purpose of this gofundme is to help offset the costs of his certified therapy dog training as well as obtain a prosthetic limb for him. Thank you so much for donating to Nicco's cause and helping him get back to helping others. Thank you.
