Help Kabbalah Experience Welcome Afghan Newcomers

Help Kabbalah Experience welcome and support an Afghan refugee family in Denver. 47,000 Afghans in need of protection live on military bases waiting for communities across the country to receive them. We are excited to help a family of newcomers acclimate to Denver.

 

Our community is creating a sponsor circle with the guidance of HIAS . We have an urgent need to raise money to sponsor and support an Afghan family as they transition to life in Denver.

 

Sponsor circles are community-led refugee resettlement initiatives. Our sponsor circle will provide an Afghan family with housing and transportation assistance, employment and education opportunities, and emotional and moral support as they navigate and build relationships within their new community.

 

The money we raise will pay for their rent, legal fees and home goods. Some funds will go directly to the family as they seek employment and pursue education.

Kabbalah Experience is a 501(c)3 non-profit, and all funds will be distributed to resettlement efforts for an Afghan Refugee Family. Excess funds will be allocated to another family, or to support another mission-aligned project supporting Afghan refugee families in our community.
