Help Kacey Complete Her Alaska Field Study
Donation protected
Kacey's life took a dramatic plot twist three weeks after graduating from high school in 2019. It took her until 2022 to get reoriented in how the rest of her life would look. She applied for financial aid, work-study, and a job to enter Jr. College. In the spring of 2023, the transition to the University of Arizona as a double major was complete. Kacey is majoring in geology and evolutionary biology to attend grad school and earn her PhD to become a paleontologist.
To complete her undergrad degree, Kacey must attend a field camp. Without the field camp, she won't be able to graduate with a degree in geology. The field camp is on a boat in Alaska. To understand ancient life forms, Kacey will examine fossils and geologic clues of Alaska’s Alexander Archipelago. The majority of the money has been raised on her own. There is just a final thousand for the camp, a plane ticket, and supplies remaining.
For your donation, you will receive exclusive access on Instagram to the Alaskan Adventure and other fun facts. Kacey's undying gratitude and the to-be-announced gifts.
