This is Operation Kai!

Victoria (Tori) Pinkas Harned is the breeder / owner of Valor Bernese Mountain Dogs in Granite City Illinois (https://victoriapinkas.wixsite.com/valorbernese). Tori is known far and wide as a loving mother, devoted wife, supportive daughter, and dedicated Veterinary Technician / animal lover. Throughout the Berner world she is known as a loving, conscientious, trustworthy breeder, show dog judge, and Berner enthusiast.

Now is a time for us to unite and show our support for Tori, her husband (Joshua) and their 1 year old son Kai.

Kai developed symptoms within the past week that were excruciating and debilitating. The diagnosis is that he has been suffering painful seizures. Further diagnosis and treatments are needed and will be forthcoming.

Our mission: to PRAY for Kai and provide financial support for Tori and Joshua as they navigate this life changing event.

There are many THOUSANDS of people hurting right now. North Carolina, Florida, other places in the world, there is no shortage of places and people to pray for and support financially.

But those of us in the Berner community share a bond. We get it. We know the love our Berners bring us. "A lot of hair, but a lot of LOVE"!

Tori has been breeding beautiful show dogs and loving Berners for years.

She has been doing everything possible to breed only healthy, beautiful, loving Berners with wonderful personalities.

We were blessed with one of her boys in July '24 (Theodore Roosevelt, "Teddy"), after the loss of our 7 year young Buddy in May. Teddy has been an absolute BLESSING!!!

Kai has been loving on Berners since he was born (see the attached photo).

Let's come together to help Kai through his ordeal, and provide financial support for his family during this difficult time.
