Help Kai with a Summer Internship in D.C.

Hello, I have been given the amazing opportunity to intern with The Public Defender Service of D.C. this summer as an investigative intern where I will be working directly with an attorney to get hands on experience as a criminal defense attorney on Capitol Hill. I am seeking financial support to help cover monthly expenses such as housing, rent, and transportation during my time in D.C., and I would love your help to make this dream a reality.

I am a sophomore political science major on the pre-law track attending the #1 HBCU Spelman College. I am extremely involved in school as a founder of my own organization and I have been recognized by my local community in Portland, OR;  Black United Fund, Good in The Hood, and The Skanner Newspaper as a scholar for my leadership and commitment to my community. I am an honor roll student with a 3.6 grade point average. I have a passion to pursue a career in law and politics which is inspired by the early exposure and the work of my late father, Robert L. Ingram. 

I truly believe God has called me to this position after spending the past few months praying for the opportunity to participate in this very selective program. It would be a blessing and honor to receive support from friends, family, and others who are willing and able to contribute. All donations will go directly towards rent, food, and necessities during the time of my internship.
