Help Kailey in her battle with breast cancer

Kailey was in her third trimester of pregnancy when she first noticed a concerning lump in her breast. Kailey and Justin welcomed their beautiful baby boy Griffin on November 8th, 2021. Soon after this, Kailey went through a series of testing to investigate for breast cancer. Kailey and her family spent Griffin's first Christmas waiting for her results. On December 27th, they received the news of the diagnosis, triple-positive breast cancer. Kailey is 33 years old, healthy and active, with no family history and a new mother. The news was a shock to all.

 

Kailey received her first of five rounds of chemotherapy on January 10th with eventual plans for surgery.

 

This devastating diagnosis has impacted Kailey and her family tremendously. Anyone lucky enough to know Kailey knows her heart is made of gold. She is an amazing friend, mother, wife, daughter, niece, and cousin. The strength and positivity Kailey has shown through her journey thus far is inspiring. As long as I have known Kailey, she couldn't wait to be a mom, and she is determined to fight as hard as she can to be there for her family.
