Help Kaine Beat Cancer!

Please continue to pray. -Nicole & Renee ————————— Hi, my name is Renee and I’ve created this GoFundMe to support my older brother, Kaine. I never thought I’d be doing this and, if I’m honest, Kaine isn’t going to like that I have (he’s too proud – ha!).   Kaine was diagnosed in early May with Stage 4 colon cancer that has metastasized to his liver and one lung. My family has been blindsided by this news. He’s only 41.  Kaine has two children: Hunter (who is 17 and just graduated high school) and Kailee (who is 10 and adores her Daddy). He’s a firefighter (which we think may have contributed to his condition) and an EMT in my hometown of Glen Rose, TX. He’s the guy that is willing to help you at a moment’s notice, has that stupid sense of humor (sorry Kaine—love ya!) that puts everyone at ease, and is just one of the most likeable guys around.  Kaine is seeking aggressive treatment at MD Anderson in Houston. As a result, he will have to take significant time off from his very physically demanding job. Insurance, of course, will not cover all the medical expenses. So, I’m asking for your help.  • First, if you’ve read this far, will you commit to pray for Kaine and for his healing? We are praying for a miracle and we believe in a God who hears our prayers.  • Second, if you are able, would you consider giving (any amount goes a long way!) to help cover his medical bills?
