Hi everyone, my name is Layla Perez and I am humbly asking for your help in welcoming Hadlee Elaine safely into this world. Kaitlynn Spellman is someone who has a light that shines like no other and is the best future sister-in-law I could ever ask for. As many of you know, Kaitlynn has had a rather difficult pregnancy with Ms. Hadlee and is currently having an extended stay at St. David's Medical Center in Austin.
Kaitlynn has been diagnosed with preeclampsia and is being monitored closely by the staff at St. David's.
The past few days have been scary ones as preeclampsia has put Kaitlynn at great risk for heart attacks, strokes, and/or seizures. After treatments for high blood pressure, Kaitlynn has been stabilized and is able to walk for brief periods of time. Though Kaitlynn and Hadlee are stable currently, Kaitlynn will have to stay in the hospital until Hadlee is at least 34 weeks, or earlier if complications arise. Kaitlynn is currently 30 weeks along, putting a physical, emotional, and financial stress on the family
