Help Kaleohano Salazar Walk Again
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
I never imagined I would have to write this, but today, I am reaching out for help for my son, Kaleohano Salazar.
Two and a half years ago, Kaleohano was tragically struck by a truck. The driver showed no remorse, but by the grace of God, an off-duty Border Patrol agent happened to be passing by. He quickly applied a tourniquet, saving my son’s life. However, Kaleohano suffered severe injuries, including a skull fracture, deep wounds across his body, and devastating breaks in his left leg.
For the past two and a half years, he has fought every single day to regain mobility, enduring six surgeries and an immense amount of physical and emotional pain. Despite all efforts to save his leg, his doctors have now determined that amputation is necessary.
This journey has placed a tremendous financial burden on our family. We are doing everything we can, but we cannot afford the cost of a prosthetic or the rehabilitation Kaleohano will need to rebuild his life. That’s why we are reaching out to our community for support.
Kaleohano is a fighter, and we know that with the right help, he will emerge from this stronger than ever. If you are able to donate, we would be forever grateful. If you cannot, we completely understand, and simply sharing this fundraiser would mean the world to us.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love, prayers, and generosity.
With gratitude,
The Salazar Family
