Help Kandi pay her cancer bills!

Hello there. I'm Kandi Steinke's bratty little brother Kelly, and I have created this GoFundMe page for her recent bout with breast cancer. In a nutshell, Kandi recently was diagnosed with breast cancer when a routine mammogram found a lump in her right breast. After meeting with her surgeon, she found out that her insurance company is one of very few that will not cover removal of both her breasts. They will only cover the removal of one.

Removal of both breasts has been shown to improve psychological recovery, as well as prevent the common recurrence of cancer in the remaining breast tissue. While Kandi's immediate decision to remove both breasts is the best for her long-term prognosis, WEA Trust insurance does not see it that way and has denied removal of the second one.

Obviously, any kind of cancer recovery has a long recovery process and extra expenses. Many have already chipped in to help Kandi and Al with gas money, offerings of food, and more. Unfortunately, the extra cost of removing her remaining breast has been estimated at $50,000. We understand if people would like to give directly to Kandi and Al, but we also thought this may be a way to help out for those who don't have a direct connection but would like to help as well.
