Help Kani beat Stomach Cancer

Hi everyone my name is Brandon Chin and I am Kani's son (in the picture). Here is her story...

Kani, 59 years old, compassionate, loving and serving. She is a Daughter, Sister, Mother, Aunt & Grandmother. The love her family has for her is undeniable. She resides in the Region of Orlando, FL with her husband. Her & her husband Troy, have two children; daughter, Ashley who lives in California with her husband, Mal & three young children, and their son who lives with his wife in Orlando, FL.

Last July, Kani began suffering from severe stomach pain while eating. She started treatment with her doctor who suggested she had Gastritis and Acid Reflux.

In September 2023, she went through a CT Scan, weighing 128lbs, to rule out cancer. Though they ruled it out, the cancer was actually evident and was not treated. Due to the misdiagnosis, she was prescribed unnecessary medication.

As of February 2024, Kani was still suffering from stomach pain and severe weight loss. At this point, she was 96lbs, sought a second opinion and was diagnosed with Stage 4 Stomach Cancer.

The Oncologist suggested an invasive Chemo treatment with no hope for remission. After much consideration, her and her family decided the best route would be Naturopathic Medicine.

Now weighing, 87lbs, she’s uprooted her entire life and moved to California for her daughter, Ashley and son in law, Mal to guide and care for her throughout this new way of living.

Through this journey, Kani will be doing oxidative therapies, IV treatments and an ongoing pH diet. Unfortunately, health insurance does not cover Naturopathic Medicine and the support of others, is greatly needed.

Kani’s church community has opened their hands and hearts to serve back to her in countless ways. She wears her heart on her sleeve and would give the shirt off her back.
