Hi there, my name is Lauren, I live in the UK, and I am hoping to raise funds for a young family that I have come to know in Gaza.

Karam and Maram had only been married for 18 months when the devastating war broke out in Gaza. Maram, who was pregnant with their first child, gave birth to their beautiful baby boy, Anas, five months ago. Anas has only known life in a war zone, born into an unimaginable situation.

Karam, a skilled tailor, and Maram, a recent graduate, had dreams of building a bright future together. However, those dreams were shattered when their home was completely destroyed by bombs. Now, they are left with nothing but each other and their precious baby.

Currently, they are in Rafah with no money and no safe place to stay. They are struggling to survive without even the basic necessities. Their hope is to reach Al Mawassi Khan Younis, where they can join the rest of their family and find some semblance of safety before evacuating.

Your generous donation will mainly go towards their urgent need for evacuation, which is now costing between £5,000 and £7,000. In addition, funds will help provide Karam, Maram, and baby Anas with:
