Help Karen Feit Recover from Stroke
Donation protected
In the early morning hours of April 18th our mother, Karen Feit suffered a stroke. I’m guessing this news is taking most of you by surprise. Karen is a very proud and strong woman and in return we followed suit. She spent Mothers Day and her Birthday in rehab recovering and working hard on relearning to walk and trying to find the pleasures in life she once knew. She’s been home now for a few weeks and things are not going well. She’s been hospitalized and will be again for another procedure soon. Parts of her house have already been renovated to make her more comfortable but, things are becoming more obvious that she will require more help, more physical and occupational therapy, and more assistance.
Many of you have received her help whether you asked for it or not, you’ve had dinner(most likely a fabulous one) at her table, you’ve heard her voice and guitar (two things we may never hear again) at a jewish holiday celebration or classroom, and she probably taught you, your child, or even your grandchild for a flawless performance for their B’nei Mitzvah. Now we are asking for you to please consider helping her. Please consider donating to help us get our mother back on her feet and return to where she was before the stroke took so much from her. So she can be there for her sons, grandchildren, boyfriend, and most importantly, herself. If you’re unable to assist financially, don’t worry. You can share this post and message so that more of the people she’s connected with through the years can.
Thank you,
Matthew, Yoni, Leor, Emily, Levon, and Chuck
