Help Karen heal from her severe injuries

On Christmas Day, our friend and beloved neighborhood pet sitter, Karen Miely, was tragically struck by a car at Orcas and 51st Ave. S. The driver sped away, leaving Karen with severe injuries, including two broken legs and neck trauma. She has been hospitalized at Harborview for the past week. She is in good spirits but doctors anticipate she will need at least six weeks of rehabilitation.
