Help Karen Heitman in her time of need

Hi, my name is Stephanie and I am starting this fundraiser along with the rest of our Excela family in the concussion clinic to help one of our own! Our near and dear friend, Karen Heitman was just diagnosed with stage 4b cancer. Karen has the biggest heart! She has devoted her time to an animal sanctuary and has become vegan for the protection of animals. She puts her beautiful family and her friends above all others. She’s the type of person to sacrifice anything for anyone in need. Now the time has come that she is the one in need. Karen is going to be starting treatment and will be unable to work. This fundraiser to help relieve some of her financial stress (like bills, rent, daycare expenses, medical bills, etc.) that she will be under. We want to make sure Karen is still able to help provide for her family and two young grandchildren that live with her during the most unthinkable time of her life!
