Karen Hennessey was diagnosed with brain cancer which affected her right hand and arm.

 

So much change took place the first week of November. On Monday she lost the ability to use her right hand and arm. The following Thursday she was in surgery to remove cancer from her brain.

 

Anyone who knows her well knows she's the type of person who strives to see the best in all situations. She is also the type of person who is less likely to reach out for help. She's a nurse. She is accustomed to taking care of other people :)

 

Her current condition is optimistic. The tumor has been removed from her brain but not entirely. She will need to continue therapy and radiation treatment to continue to fight the cancer that has so quickly changed the course of her life.

 

We set up this Gofundme for anyone who knows Karen, to lend a hand or to extend their gratitude for everything she has given to the community.
