Help Kari Brown get back on her feet!
Hello all!
Most of you that know me know that my mom, Kari Brown, is my best friend. Unfortunately, on Memorial Day 2021, she fell while trying to pull our garage door manually down and hit her head. She suffered her second subdural hematoma and a week later, suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage, which is a kind of hemorrhagic stroke. She was in the hospital for approximately 2.5 weeks and is now trying to work her way through inpatient rehabilitation. She will be here for approximately 3-4 weeks and from there, we will need to provide her 24/7 care at home until she can get back on her feet.
If you've ever had the pleasure to interact with my mom, you know how incredible of a woman she is. I don't know why I was the lucky one to have her as my mother, but I thank my lucky stars every single day that she is. She is one of the most sweet, caring, positive and selfless humans I have ever met and is an inspiration to many. She would do literally anything for anyone, even if she just met you once for a short amount of time. She is such a special woman and is one in a million (and I promise I'm not just saying that because I'm biased (; ).
Normally, making a GoFundMe is not something we would typically do. Again, if you know me or my mom, you know how independent we both are and how sometimes it may be hard to ask for help. However, with me still in PA school in North Carolina and her being out of work until further notice, she decided it would be time to ask for some help.
We truly appreciate everything and anything anyone is willing to donate. Thank you <3
Love,
Kari & Sarah Brown
