Help Kari, John, and Jonah Recover after Fire

Our family (Kari, John, and Jonah) was so thrilled and excited to have recently purchased our first home in beautiful Altadena, California. After spending the better part of the last year hunting for, purchasing, and renovating this home, it's been lost to the Eaton Fire only 3 months after we moved. Our house—and nearly every house on the block—is completely gone, and one of our two cars was totaled.

We are so grateful for all of the support from everyone who has reached out and offered help. It's meant so much to us while we try to process what's happened. We have our immediate needs taken care of, but we are grateful for funds to help with the long term recovery. We are underinsured and expecting that it will be at least 3 years that we have to live in temporary housing before we can move back to Altadena. These funds will assist with needs that might not be fully covered by other sources of aid.
