Help Karim Jaafar El Zein with his Heart Surgery

Hi everyone, I have created this fundraiser to assist with a prosthetic, aortic valve replacement for our father, dad, jido, baba Karim Jaafar El-Zein. Karim currently resides in Lebanon, where they are experiencing a severe national crisis that is affecting all aspects of every day life, including their medical system and insurances. Our dad just went through an emergency surgery for his arteries and will require one more for replacement of the aortic valve. The first surgery from two weeks ago was $20,000 and the next surgery that is needed is estimated at $75,000 and will not happen until we come up with the funds to assist him. Now people, friends and family would ask why and would have to agree that every person is not perfect and has challenges through their lives. Our dad, Karim faced those challenges which took him away from being the perfect father if one exist. God gives us one father, and one mother that we have to take care of as they have of us growing up. As a father of eight and a grandfather of 17 grandchildren, our father at the age of 73 is dealing with a lot of medical challenges that require our help. This was difficult to start but with the suggestions and support of our friends and family recommending to create this as additional assistance. I decided to create this, and will forever be thankful for the kindness of all our friends, family and strangers. Update 12/2022With the help of family and friends, we have been able to cover the first surgery hospital bill and continue to pray for the second one. Karim is doing well and recovering even better thank God. Update 12/19Hello all, after further test and scans. The doctors have discovered two additional abdominal aneurysms that will require another surgery 10 to 14 days after the aortic artery surgery. The new estimate received from the hospital with the additional surgery is back up to $105,000 with a $40,000 deposit required to order the prosthesis.
