Help Karl Powell's Cancer Journey

Hi, my name is Tricia Powell, and I'm helping to raise money for my dads medical and eventual funeral expenses.

On May 19, 2021, my father went to the emergency room, displaying symptoms of a stroke. With thorough testing, he was unexpectedly diagnosed with a Grade Four Glioblastoma- an inoperable brain tumor. He decided to participate in chemo and radiation, even though it became more and more difficult for him. Throughout this process, he rapidly regressed in his ability to function as usual- losing the ability to walk, have any sort of independence-and now, hes completely bedridden.

Ultimately, the chemotherapy and radiation didnt help with his tumor, and he has been put on a hospice program, where they try to make him as comfortable as possible. It has been a difficult few months for him and his wife, and sons, who are in junior high, as they all try to figure out their new reality.

Any money raised would go towards his medical bills, and his funeral costs. Any extra would go towards his wife and children, to ensure their bills are covered and they can have finacial security for a few months after his passing.
