Help Karoly Get His Vision Back

This is Valkay Karoly. He's a husband to Valkay Marta and a father to 3 kids aged 12, 10 and 4. He also makes the best bread I've ever had in my life. In 2020 Karoly suffered an accident that made him lose his left eye permanently, severely damage his right eye, as well as shatter his nose. Karoly effectively lost his vision which lead him to lose his carpentry job that his family relied on financially, as his numerous medical expenses added an even bigger financial burden. Karoly told me that his biggest regret is not being able to see his kids smile anymore, which breaks his heart, and frankly it also broke mine.

Thankfully, Karoly's vision can be meaningfully restored through a cornea transplant surgery performed in Germany, however, the big costs associated with the procedure are very difficult for the Valkay family to sustain. That's where we can come in and make a big difference. If everyone can donate even a small amount, we can really help Karoly's recovery and his journey of getting his vision back. If we can help him get this surgery he can potentially see his 4-year-old daughter's smile again, which he last saw when she was only 6 months old. He could be able to move around freely, without assistance, and be better equipped to deal with his difficult situation. Let's do it!!!
