Help Karp's Hardware- a Community Staple

Hi, we are Dylan, Brandon and Olivia DeFeo and we are fundraising on behalf of our dad, Tom and our family's shop Karp's Hardware. In these difficult and uncertain financial times, we have experienced substantial challenges in keeping the store operating. Rising rent and a slow winter has compounded an already difficult time of financial hardship and has led to unwanted staff layoffs and difficulties with meeting expenses such as payroll and utilities. Our dad has always been there to help us and so many others in his life, and now it's time for us to help him- and Karp's- make ends meet until this time next year.

Karp's Hardware has been a staple of the East Northport community since 1934. The quintessential all-American brick-and-mortar hardware store, it has been family run for several generations- most recently by our own. For nine decades, Karp's has been an institution- providing an unmatched selection of hardware, gardening, homebrew and industrial supplies with the unparalleled customer service that only a small business can provide. As fellow members of the community, we have our fingers on the pulse of your specific needs and the needs of our neighbors. We have always prided ourselves on serving our town and Long Island at large and want nothing more than to provide many more years of service to you and your families.

Like many small businesses, the challenges we face may seem insurmountable. However, with your support, we can make our ends meet; and in return we can continue to provide East Northport, Long Island and our whole community with the best hardware with the personal touch as we have for nearly a century.
