Help Kat Savage, SAVOR Shrub Bitters, After Hurricane Helene
Donation protected
Hi folks- I am humbly accepting that I need some financial help at this time, and I am not great at asking for help.
Hurricane Helene has devastated our region and my income source for the foreseeable future. I am strategizing realistic solutions.
My partner, Vance, has been invaluable and steadfast in their support. They have helped me save much of my inventory from my small biz, SAVOR Shrub Bitters , while power has been out to most of Buncombe County/Asheville area.
“Peak-leaf season” is a big time for small business owners in WNC. We will not have tourists to support us this fall. This will be a second tier of devastation here, as Asheville is absolutely a tourist economy.
In addition to these stressors, this summer has been tremendously difficult. On top of existing disabilities, I had a serious work accident and later a fall that hindered my ability to fully function at work and at home.
I would love it if you would consider helping me in one of two ways:
—Donate $ here to help me stay afloat. Any amount helps.
—Purchase my product. My biz is SAVOR Shrub Bitters . (@SAVORshrub On Instagram -every follow helps.)
My products make amazing, cocktails, mocktails, and fizzies. I can ship it to you on or before October 15, fingers-crossed. Please pass the word onto your friends and family. I make fermented, non-alcoholic aperitif-mixer concentrates from organic and sustainably foraged ingredients from right here in Appalachia, and ship from my website.
I am embarrassed to be asking, but being brave anyway. I promise that any help you offer my way, I will repay in-kind to others in my community tenfold.
Thank you for your time, and blessings to you and yours’.
