Help Kate Ayotte Honor Her Father's Memory

Dear Family and Friends,

I am writing you today, to let you know of a recent passing.

My niece Kate Ayotte, 21 years old, living in Sebring, Florida called to let me know her father, William (Bill) Raymond Ayotte passed away at the hospital of liver issues on 7/28/24. Bill was born in Southington, CT, February 3, 1958. He joined the Army when he was 18-21, in the 82nd Airborne. Bill was a tile layer for many years until he had a stroke in 2013. Bill and Wendy Mitchell (my sister) met in 1988 and adopted Timothy in 2002, he was 3 years old, in 2003 they had Kate. Wendy passed away from lung cancer in 2016, Kate was 13.

Bill was a loving partner to Wendy, and a great father to Tim and Kate and his passing will create a huge loss for them both.

Kate is having to deal with cremation/funeral arrangements and a stone.

Kate has notified the VA and is doing the best that she can do to offset the costs.... She was taking care of her father until he went to the hospital. We are looking for donations to help with cremation/funeral arrangements and a stone. She needs to pay the hospital the cremation expenses before they will let her say goodbye to him. We will have services for Bill on Sunday, September 8th, 2024 in Sebring, FL , not sure of location yet and will let you know when we know.
