Last night, Kate’s home in Enola, PA, was severely damaged by a fire that started in the neighboring unit of their duplex but spread into their unit. The home appears to be a total loss. She lost nearly everything, including personal belongings and necessities.

One of her cats did not survive, and her neighbor’s cat also perished. While her other cat is alive, it has incurred veterinary expenses. Fortunately, her dog survived as well, but her partner Jay's cat is currently missing.

Kate's daughter was briefly hospitalized due to smoke inhalation, but thankfully, all humans are otherwise okay. However, the family now faces significant challenges as they work to recover and rebuild.

We are seeking your support to help cover immediate needs like temporary housing, meals, school supplies, veterinary costs, and essentials that were lost in the fire. The funds raised will also assist with the long-term process of rebuilding their lives.
