Help Kathleen & Hana Rebuild after Lahaina Fire

This fundraiser is on behalf of Kathleen and Hana Machado who lost everything, including their home, in the wildfire that swept through Lahaina, Maui. Kathleen is the wonderful single mom to Hana who just graduated high school in June. These two women have big, warm hearts, and truly embody the sense of ohana in their community. Kathleen was in her home late Tuesday afternoon when the fire approached and had only minutes to escape the flames as ash and smoke engulfed her apartment complex.

Our hearts are broken for all our friends and ohana impacted by the recent fire on Maui. In less than two hours, the fire burned through Lahaina taking precious lives and homes and reducing the historic town to ashes. The devastation is unfathomable. While government aid is slow to arrive, the local community support has been incredible in getting immediate help to those who need it most. One way we can all continue to help is to support individual families through direct donations.
