Kathleen Stryker - accident recovery and restart.

To those of you who personally know Kathleen Stryker, you know she has been dealt some pretty hard blows in this life but has always kept her head up, kept fighting, and has always just found a way to continue on. This passion and drive in her most recently had her successfully apply for a new job in Massachusetts - one of her longtime goals was to have a fresh start in the North-East, where she could finally enjoy one of her favorite things...the changing of the seasons.

This weekend, after moving her car with all her belongings via the car-train to NJ and having only just begun driving to a friends apartment in Massachusetts - she was involved in a major car accident on the NJ turnpike - a notoriously dangerous stretch of roadway. She is very lucky to have only sustained severe bruising, whiplash and burns from the deployed airbag - as her car was completely destroyed, her clothes and most of her belongings that were in her car also gone, as well as personal items and mementos from her Family and Parents.

She is not someone that will outwardly ask for help to rebuild. She IS however always first-in-line to help others. So now it's our time to help. I'm asking you to please help me raise funds for Kathleen, to help her restart her life and her new job. She has lost almost all her clothing and winter wear, her shoes, her personal furniture to set up her room - all the things that will help make her new home feel like home. Not to mention the costs she will have until new transport can be sorted out, as well as taking care of her day-to-day living expenses.

Please help me take care of this incredible woman. She has faced many obstacles in her life which have derailed her plans and dreams - and I want her to be able rise up from this latest hurdle and take her new job, her new home and start fresh knowing the love and support she has around her.
