Help Kathrin's Family Through This Tough Time

Dear GISB Community,

I am reaching out to you today on behalf of one of our own—our wonderful nurse, Kathrin—who is facing an incredibly difficult time as her family navigates a devastating health crisis.

Kathrin and her two young boys had planned a special trip to Chile to visit their Opa, meeting with their aunt Carla (Kathrin's sister), who was traveling from Marrakech. Many of you know Carla from various community events and classroom visits. However, upon landing in Santiago, Kathrin received devastating news that her sister had fallen gravely ill during her flight to Santiago and was rushed to a nearby hospital. Carla is currently in a medically induced coma.

As you can imagine, this unexpected emergency has placed an immense emotional and financial strain on Kathrin and her family as they try to support Carla.

I am asking our community to come together to help ease this burden. Any contribution, no matter the size, would be deeply appreciated and would go a long way in supporting them through this incredibly challenging time.
