Help Kathy Beat Bronchogenic Carcinoma-lung cancer

After experiencing severe back pain and trouble breathing, Kathy was rushed to the ER in Park Rapids on September 16.  After extensive and invasive testing, seven days later Kathy’s doctors determined the pain was a result of tumors growing in Kathy’s lungs and she was diagnosed with stage 3 bronchogenic carcinoma.  Unfortunately the cancer has spread to her lymph nodes as well.  Kathy’s doctors have prescribed a treatment plan which includes twelve weeks of chemo and radiation to reduce and ultimately eradicate the tumor. 

Kathy is known for her loyalty and beauty.  She radiates from the inside out.  She is blessed with compassion, kindness, and is one of the most gracious people we know.  She lives for her children and grandchildren and is thoughtful and loving. While Kathy’s prognosis is positive we expect her bills and out of pocket expenses to reach over $15,000.

Our goal is for Kathy to beat this without a mountain of debt and to relieve some of the financial uncertainty she is facing.  Please help us hit our goal of raising $10,000 for Kathy.  The funds raised will go toward lodging, out of pocket medical expenses, loss of income and bills accrued during her 12 weeks of treatment.
