Help Kathy & Brandi get back on their feet

Hi, my name is Christy and I am fundraising for my neighbors - Kathy and Brandi. I am hoping we can raise enough money to help Kathy and Brandi get back on their feet. Their problems started a few months ago, when Kathy's dad died. She took off work to be with him because he was dying. Unfortunately he passed away and had no assets. She thought she'd be okay to take out a loan online, for the missed days of work, which turned out to be a bad loan, the fees eating up her paycheck, and it automatically comes out of her bank account. Brandi made the same mistake and a loan is eating her paycheck too. They also had their one car fixed, because without the car, they'd have no way to get to work. It had something wrong with the engine and a flat tire. Then Brandi got sick and couldn't chef at work for a few days, and went beyond her sick pay. They've also been late on rent and had to pay $75 dollar late fees each month for a few months. Currently they are behind in their rent & bills. Their rent is $1,829.00/month.

They told me if they could just get caught up money wise, they'd be okay. They only have $600.00 dollars for the rent this month but their rent is $1,829.00. With the late fees and being behind, they owe a total of $2,049.00 for this month. It's the car and all the late fees & automatic withdrawal of the loan payments that have put them behind, beside the death of Kathy's father. If they can't get the rent by Thursday (11/17), they will have to move into a motel after they go thru the eviction process, that they don't want to do but really have no choice. Management at the apts used to let them make partial payments now & then, but now we've had a new management for the last 6 months & they're strict.

I know it's a lot to ask but with the holidays around the corner, I’m hoping we can raise enough money to cover rent for Kathy, her daughter and her grandson for 2 months plus have a little extra money to pay any other outstanding bills or even get groceries. Any amount can really help this family in their time of need. I just want to see if we can rally together and get the management office their past due rent so they aren't homeless. Any amount will help.
