Help Kathy J with medical expenses

Hi, my name is Abby and Kathy is a good friend and invaluable team member of mine at the Bank. As many may already know, over 10yrs ago Kathy was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. The disease has progressed over the last 4 years but the last 12 months have been very difficult. Kathy has had multiple stays in the hospital and rehab facilities. Unfortunately now she is in a place that she needs additional care and while she goes through the various steps and paperwork to obtain disability assistance she has to private pay for the care. She needs our help- she would be mortified to know we were asking others to help her, because to anyone that knows Kathy knows she is a giver.

Kathy is the person who makes sure everyone has a card signed by everyone in the office on their birthday. She buys birthday and holiday gifts for team members kids. She is known for her hand written notes and cards. She would give everyone in the office a scratch off for Christmas or a gift card to say thank you for a colleagues extra help. She calls/texts/emails others to check on them. She has the best advice and solves problems before they arise. She is thoughtful, she is kind and has given so much to so many. As she has helped so many, we need to pay it forward and help Kathy J now. I know she needs the help and would never ever ask. To put the Cherry on Top- Sunday is her birthday. I know seeing the generosity of others and the money to cover these costs to get the care she needs, would relieve a lot of stress.
