Help Kathy With Paying Her Bills

Hey everyone, Jamie Doyle here. As some of you know, my mom, Kathy, is in the hospital and has been there since the beginning of November 2022.

She was initially being treated for Covid, and while she was at the hospital, the results from a biopsy (for a mass found near her bladder) came back and it is Stage 4 Kidney Cancer -- the same Cancer that she had removed in December 2020. For a bit of a back-story and explanation, she had Stage 4 Kidney Cancer and had surgery to remove the affected kidney (the mass engulfed the organ). Soon after, the doctors found that some spots had spread to her lungs. They started treating her for those spots with immunotherapy and also later on with radiation.

Jumping to what is happening now, the doctors seem to think some of the cancerous cells dropped during surgery for her kidney, and this new mass started to grow behind her bladder. This discovery has since made life a little more difficult for my mom. The cancerous mass is growing and hitting nerves in her back, making it difficult for her to walk without assistance (she is currently using a walker) and for other organs to function properly.

Since she has been out of work for about three weeks (and in the hospital), no income is coming in. My mom has decided to opt for early retirement and will work on that process with her place of employment; however, we are unsure how long that process will take. Unfortunately, my mom does not have any vacation time left as she has been using the time throughout the year to go to treatment and doctor appointments.

In the meantime, we need your assistance so that my mom's bills are paid (both medical and standard living: rent, electric, etc.) for the next few months. I wish I could solely financially support my mom, but unfortunately, I cannot do so. I have never been one to ask for much help, be it even for finances, so I humbly ask you all to help my mom.
