Help Katie Briggs with Medical Expenses

Hi, My name is Linda Lawlor and I am a volunteer at the Salt Point Fire Company Auxiliary. We are trying to raise funds to help Katie with medical expenses for when she comes home from the hospital.

As some of you may know, Katie Briggs is a very hard-working independent woman. A little over two months ago, Katie underwent a surgery that has unfortunately caused many complications and Katie has been in the hospital on and off for the last two months. She has only been able to come home for a few days at a time and then back into the hospital. Due to the severity of her complications, her sisters have been coming here from down south and her children and sisters have been going back-and-forth to the hospitals.

Katie is a very dedicated worker and volunteer for the Pleasant Valley Fire Department and is currently the President of the Salt Point Fire Company Auxiliary. She is also chair of the 4-H advisory and on the Board at Cornell.

We at the Auxiliary would like to ask everyone to please help Katie as she would be the first to stand up and help anyone whether she knew them or not. Katie has been out of work since the beginning of June. When Katie can come home she will need care that insurance will not pay for. We would like to help Katie and her family out with the upcoming expenses. Thank you for anything you can donate, mostly, thank you for your prayers.
