Help Katie Get a Wheelchair for More Independence

I'm raising funds to help me purchase a lightweight folding power wheelchair. I'm an accessible yoga teacher who is only able to work part-time due to my disabilities, so I'm seeking some community support in reaching my goal.

I live with several disabling chronic illnesses, with the most limiting being moderate Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME). I'm currently only able to leave the house with the support of my partner to teach 1-2 yoga classes per week and for very short errands using my rollator. The rollator is good for quick visits to the nearby pharmacy, but it usually means I have to immediately rest for hours afterward due to the exertion of walking.

I have saved up a good chunk of the funds needed for the wheelchair that fits my needs, but am struggling to get all the way since the majority of my income goes toward living and medical expenses. Getting access to this wheelchair will help improve my quality of life and allow me to be out in the world more often :)
